Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

All Brease Studio hooks and posts are stainless steel or 316 surgical stainless steel, which most people with sensitive ears wear comfortably. Some designs feature ion-plated or real gold-plated (usually 18k) hardware over stainless steel.

Are they heavy?

Polymer clay is incredibly lightweight, so even our bigger statement hoops and dangles are comfortable for all-day wear. Each pair's exact size and weight is listed in its product description.

Is each pair unique?

Every pair is handmade from hand-mixed clay slabs, so no two patterns are ever exactly alike. Some designs are true one-of-a-kind pieces; others are made in small batches with the same shape, but each pattern is still unique. Pairs marked "One of a kind" won't be remade.

How do I care for my earrings?

Some designs have a glossy UV resin coating for extra shine and protection; others keep a natural matte clay finish. Either way, keep them away from water, perfume, and lotions, and remove them before swimming, showering, or sleeping. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store each pair separately to avoid scratches.

Will the gold plating last?

With gentle care, yes. Keeping plated hardware dry and away from chemicals helps it keep its shine longer.
